I am currently nursing my 7 month old and have faced a few problems on the way. I have had to research as I go as I didn’t do much research before hand. When I was pregnancy I found all the information very overwhelming and that you have to look in various different places. Breastfeeding for Beginners is a great book and guide as has all the information you could possibly need to successful breastfeed in one place. I quickly read the book in one go as it’s so easy to read and explains everything so simply from day 1 feeding to returning to work. Although I am successful breastfeeding my boy we are both still learning everyday and I will still refer back to this easy guide.

A must read for any pregnant woman wanting to breastfeed or any new Mothers. With real stories from other mamas I found the book very personal and relatable. I’m even going to suggest my Husband reads it to expand on his knowledge so he can continue to support me.

Well done Ruth and all involved, your hard work really shows.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs advice on breastfeeding. It’s really well written and the layout makes it easy to follow. Ruth has really took the time to research all of the information so that everything you need to know when you start breastfeeding is in the book! The mama stories are an amazing touch and really bring the book to life! I’ll be telling any new breastfeeding Mums in my life to grab a copy of this book as I know it will be a massive help in those early days and even a nice refresher for mums that have been there and done it but forget all the ins and outs of feeding!

This book is truly the ultimate guide to breastfeeding and an absolute must-have for any Mum about to start their breastfeeding journey.
I was so caught off guard by some of the difficulties that came with breastfeeding, I had so many questions and this book covers every one.
I’m now a proud mummy still breastfeeding my 21 month old (I’ve achieved my “platinum boobies”!) and it’s a milestone I definitely didn’t think I’d reach in the early days.
This book is an absolute gem!
