Catherine (Katie) Pereira-Kotze is a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health (SOPH) at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in South Africa. She is a registered dietitian and has been working in the field of public health nutrition for 17 years, with a keen interest in the protection, promotion and support for optimal infant and young child nutrition.
