For many new mothers the idea of breastfeeding in public can feel daunting. Worries or concerns about breastfeeding outside of the home can hinge on what other people might think, and whether you are showing too much flesh. This can hold us back from getting out and about with our babies and enjoying social occasions.

Fiona Fahy, Founder of the breastfeeding brand Feed Me Mother, knows only too well how mothers can feel anxious about breastfeeding in public. When she had her first child she was nervous about the prospect of breastfeeding in public. It was this that led her to set up Ireland’s first fashionable, sustainable breastfeeding clothing brand.
Fast forward a few years and Fiona is now pregnant with her third baby and managing a thriving business. She is passionate about giving women the confidence to breastfeed anywhere and everywhere.
