My name is Sarah. I have been a qualified midwife since 2012 and practiced in the Netherlands for over 3 years before my husband and I made the move to Australia.
Due to the differences between the Dutch and Australian midwifery systems, I haven’t been able to work as a midwife here in Australia and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am extremely passionate about all things pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, newborn care and parenthood.
In 2017 my first son Hugo was born and in 2018 my second son Jonas. I breastfed them both with a lot of joy and also a couple of hiccups.
During the COVID lockdown I started my own business ‘The Breast Help’. My Instagram is @thebreasthelp where I provide information about breastfeeding, my services and try to create an online community to share experiences and make you feel you are not alone!
