This month saw lots of our favourite celebrities post honestly about their breastfeeding and pumping journey on their social media accounts. Scroll to see which celebrity breastfeeding moments made it on to our list for July 2024.

With World Breastfeeding Week taking place in August we’re already excited for what next month will bring in terms of celebrity breastfeeding content!

1. Tiffany Watson’s breastfeeding journey has come to an end

British reality star and social media influencer, Tiffany Watson, put out a heartfelt post on her Instagram account at the start of July. Tiffany, who appeared on E4’s Made In Chelsea for five years and who is married to the professional footballer Cameron McGeehan, explained how her breastfeeding journey with her son Jude had come to an end. In her caption she honestly wrote: “I felt so sad about this part of our bond ending and if it would change our connection, plus my hormones have been all over the place!”. Her followers were quick to offer their support for stopping breastfeeding and to tell Tiffany how proud she should be of her breastfeeding journey.

2. Jenna Dewan gets mastitis

Actress Jenna Dewan, known for her role in the TV show Rookie, gave birth to her third child back in June. Her newest bundle of joy is a little girl call Rhiannon and Jenna has been delighting in the newborn bubble. However, she has posted a dose of the harsh reality of being a breastfeeding mama and has been keeping her followers up-to-date with how she is coping and managing a bout of mastisis, which is a painful inflammation of the breast(s).

3. Rumer Willis breastfeeds behind the scenes

Actress and social media influencer Rumer Willis became a mother for the first time last year. Just recently she has been getting back to work and is currently filming on location at the moment. She has posted various behind the scenes goings on – which have very much included her toddler daughter. Rumer has been able to continue breastfeeding her toddler whilst working. In a recent Instagram post, Rumer wrote: “The privilege of having a job that allows me to have my daughter with me in some thing I don’t take for granted and I feel so grateful to the support system that I have here that allows me to show up and do the best job I can do…”

4. Molly Baz pumps milk for her newborn

Chef and author Molly Baz give birth to her first child in June of this year and since then she has been updating her followers on life as a new mama. She has been open about her experience breastfeeding and in a recent post she showed herself using a double electric breast pump as she sat in the sunshine with her dog by her side.

5. Imogen Horton is proud to continue breastfeeding

UK Youtuber and mama of two Imogen Horton frequently gets passionate about breastfeeding on her Instagram account. She is proud of her breastfeeding journey with her two children and in a recent reel she showed herself breastfeeding and explained the various challenges she had to overcome to keep breastfeeding. In the accompanying caption she called for mothers to unite and not judge one another on how they feed their baby.

6. Fleur East breastfeeds on public transport

Singer and Presenter Fleur East is on a mission to normalise breastfeeding and pumping in public. In support of World Breastfeeding Week (1-7 August) Fleur uploaded a series of photos breastfeeding her baby on public transport – which was part of a campaign with Elvie. In the caption she wrote: “I remember feeling nervous about breastfeeding in public for the first time and being judged or made to feel uncomfortable. I was always reassured when I saw another Mother doing the same or when others were just accepting of it and didn’t comment or make me feel like I was doing something wrong.” Breastfeeding in public continues to carry a stigma and we love that Fleur is showing how normal it is!
