As usual we’ve been keeping a close eye on our favourite celebrity breastfeeding mamas this month. We’ve seen celebrities who’ve just welcomed babies and those who are juggling the demands of breastfeeding, pumping and working.

1. Daisy Lowe

English fashion model Daisy Lowe gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Ivy, during Easter 2023. In June she posted her first breastfeeding photo and it was a beautiful shot of her and her little one feeding side by side on a bed covered in rose petals. Daisy captioned the picture: “Who knew that breastfeeding on a bed covered in rose petals would be so dreamy?! For any breastfeeding mummas – I highly recommend it ♥️.”

2. Ona Carbonell

Synchronized swimmer and Olympian Ona Carbonell gave birth to her second child last year. She made it onto May’s list for best celebrity moments, in which she was seen breastfeeding her baby on her knee. This month she shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her baby on the beach alongside her older child.

3. Iya Villania-Arellano

Filipino-Australian singer, television presenter and actress Iya Villania-Arellano is a proud mama of four. In June she showed her 3.4 million followers on Instagram the realities of travelling as a breastfeeding mama. Her caption began by saying: “The mamas that pump milk while away on a trip know how much of a chore/challenge/hassle it is 😅. The logistics of it all is just 😧😵‍💫😖From the uncomfortable spaces/places, to figuring out pump times…”. Iya had plenty of solidarity in the comments from other pumping mamas who could relate.

4. Renae Ayris

Former Miss Universe Australia Renae Ayris is mama to an adorable daughter called Harper. In June Renae uploaded a reel explaining how she weaned her toddler off breastfeeding. In her caption she explains that her methods might not be for everyone. She said: “I knew I wanted to start weaning her around 12 months old. I dropped the nighttime feeds before any others…”

5. Ashley James

Presenter and DJ Ashley James gave birth to her second child, a daughter called Ada, in March this year. Since then she’s been keeping her fans up-to-date with her life as a busy mama of two. She recently posted a series of photos and a reel from DJing at Batiste summer party. She explained the amount of organisation it took to get ready for the job whilst looking after her little one. In the caption she honestly wrote: “I feel like I’m an a bit of an impossible juggle at the moment with a 3 1/2 month old and work. Especially as I can’t leave her due to breastfeeding.”

6. Ellie Warner

Goggle Box star and new mama, Ellie Warner, gave birth to her first child, Ezra, just four weeks ago. In June she uploaded a photo of her breastfeeding her little boy in a baby sling. Whilst looking incredibly happy in the photo, Ellie explained the she was currently getting over a bout of mastitis, which is a painful inflammation of the breast and can be a real challenge for breastfeeding mamas to face. We are wishing Ellie a speedy recovery!
