At 32, I have been on a transformative journey of breastfeeding my daughter Maeve for the past 18 months. Following a traumatic birth, breastfeeding became a vital source of healing for me, helping to alleviate the guilt and resentment I felt towards my body. This experience has deepened my understanding of the profound connection between mother and child, and the powerful role breastfeeding can play in recovery and bonding.
