This month saw lots of our favourite celebrities post positively about breastfeeding on their social media accounts. Scroll to see which celebrity breastfeeding moments made it on to our list for May 2024.
Many celebrities were celebrating Mothers Day in May and they used this as an opportunity to share photos of them breastfeeding their babies – demonstrating what a powerful part breastfeeding plays/played in their early motherhood journey.
Ferne McCann, known for her appearances on “The Only Way Is Essex,” shared a beautiful video of her breastfeeding her daughter on a recent holiday. In the accompanying caption Ferne took the opportunity to list the benefits of breastfeeding for baby and mother, saying “Breastfeeding is nature’s health plan”.
Maddie Marlow, one half of the country music duo Maddie and Tae, posted a series of photos to mark her first Mothers Day. One of the photos showed Maddie breastfeeding her son Forrest backstage before a show whilst another showed her breast milk leaking through her top!
Professional surfer Tia Blanco marked her first ever Mothers Day with a series of photos with her little one and also with her own mother and mother-in-law. The first photo was a sweet picture of her breastfeeding her newborn baby girl, whom she shares with her partner Brody Jenner.
Singer Anne Marie welcomed her first baby earlier this year and whilst she hasn’t posted very much about her new family life, this month she did share a candid photo of breastfeeding her newborn atop her bed. In the caption she wrote: “I love this little one like you wouldn’t believe.”
Actress Karla Souza gave birth to her third baby earlier this year. In honour of Mothers Day she uploaded a series of photos of her and her newest addition, including a beautiful black and white photo of her breastfeeding.
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski marked Mothers Day with a throwback photo of her breastfeeding her newborn son. In the caption she wrote: “24 hours after becoming a mama. Coolest i’ve ever looked :)”
Model and mama of three Vanessa Breuer was feeling all the feels whilst away on a work trip. Posting a throwback photo of her little one breastfeeding, Vanessa expressed how much she was missing her ‘little boobie monster’ whilst working away from home.
